All that is supposedly auspicious may be a mirage if not understood correctly in Vaastu

“I rejected so many houses because their entrances were not auspicious either according to Vaastu or Feng shui. Finally I found one house and once I started living there things have totally gone haywire. What did I do wrong?” or “I hate the office I work in. It is such a big beautiful building but as soon as I enter I feel claustrophobic.”

This is a common thread in many emails that I have received from clients wanting a Vaastu analysis. There are others who buy or rent a house or rent an office or join a company based on numerology and again find problems in that house.

What a lot of people don’t know is that certain directions that are considered unlucky in Fengshui are actually considered lucky in Vaastu and that is why it is very important to know the areas where Fengshui is compatible with Vaastu and where it is not.

I have studied Fengshui equally intensively and trained under three different learned teachers plus done my own experimentation and study (after all the nosy journalist in me is always investigating). I can tell you that Vaastu is far more accurate in many ways and far more complex and multi- layered. And a lot of translations are inaccurate. You really have to either know Sanskrit fluently or have someone who does interpret the hidden codes for you. And I am also discovering that there were different Vaastu rules for different sects of society in the Vedic times.

As far as a house or workplace is concerned the entrance is key but even in the entrance there are mini entrances, some auspicious others very problematic. And while the entrance is one of the key things the structure and its external areas need to be taken into consideration. Only when all the areas are balanced will you create the perfect universe inside and out as well as total abundance.

The fixes are not that difficult. It is very rarely that I have had to tell people they should leave that structure immediately. They say there is a soul and purpose in every building and if there is imbalance in the energies, or the purpose, the entity in the structure will be in distress. And it affects different areas of our lives adversely.

Trust me when my house or home office is messy or cluttered, or some zone is imbalanced, I can feel the blockages not just in the energy flow but in my own health and other areas of my life. So spring cleaning is certainly in the works starting this weekend! But more than that continuous balancing of every zone and constant experimentation is also on. Less is More should be everyone’s motto.

Now different people are comfortable with different kinds of compromises… so if you think parts of your life aren’t broke or are tolerable, don’t waste my time or your money. But if you want to enhance and live a life of abundance, then learn what I have to share. And also do your own research. While 40 percent of your destiny is predetermined based on past life Karma 60 percent can be rectified. But only if you have the tools.

Energetic Imbalance: They say there is a soul and purpose in every building and if there is imbalance in the energies, or the purpose, the entity in the structure will be in distress. And it affects different areas of our lives adversely.
