Anger, resentment, unspoken words, carrying past baggage and a lack of forgiveness, relentless criticism of self and others, trauma that remains unreleased, cause tremendous imbalance in our energy, eventually weakening our immune system. This ultimately turns into a chronic ailment.
It’s heart warming to see so many traditional physicians beginning to recognize the fact that stress (the label we put to all these underlying factors) is the number one leading cause of major health issues.
Every single sick person I’ve worked with recognizes that a lot of what they are experiencing is self created.
That they have given the power to others or their troubled selves to take over their lives.
In the fight against corona, it’s those with a compromised immune system who are at high risk.
Apart from getting healthy through physical nourishment and exercise, it is even more important to nourish energetically and exercise due diligence over what you allow to empower you.
Remove toxic thoughts and people from your circle.
Don’t say “I forgive but I don’t forget.” It means you will continue to be unhealthy in your mind, spirit and your energy.
As a journalist, teacher and student of life, and energy medicine I have found, laughter, forgiveness and gratitude as well as generosity of heart to be my biggest allies.
It gives me the ability not to take myself and others too seriously, and relieves me of burdens that are not mine to carry.
Gratitude allows me to truly forgive, because I count the innumerable blessings in my life, versus the lack of those in the life of someone else who is bitter and struggling because they are busy meditating on the negative.
And when someone who has fallen out with me, is genuinely remorseful when wrong, and generous in forgiving me, when I am and have apologized, they are back in my life without any reservations.
Because positivity is healthy and good people hard to come by.
The inauthentic and unhealthy always fall away unless our vibrations are a match. Like attracts like.
And again what we give out, we receive at every stage of our life. Choose wisely, so that your immune system and you stay healthy and strong.
